Our Examiner, David Robbins:

  • 1977 Graduated University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. 

  • 1980 completed the Polygraph Examiner’s Course at the Canadian Police College,    Ottawa and after completing a one-year internship designated Certified Polygraph Examiner.

  • 1980 – 1988 – Conducted Polygraphs for Ontario Provincial Police 

  • 1982 awarded the Certificate in Advanced Police Studies by the Ontario Police College in co-operation with The University of Western Ontario. 

  • 1984 completed the Polygraph Examiner’s Advanced Course. 

  • 1988 - 1989 elected president of the Canadian Police Polygraph Association

  • 1980 - 2016 Member Canadian Police Polygraph Association

  • 1997 Retired Detective Staff Sergeant after 30 years service with Ontario Provincial Police 

  • 1997 – Present Conducted polygraphs as Robbins Polygraph Service

  • 2005 Completed R.C.M.P. Pre-employment Polygraph Course

  • 2005 - Present Conducted tests under contract to R.C.M.P.

  • Has conducted over 2,500 polygraph examinations

During his service with the O.P.P. David worked in many areas including Traffic, Criminal Investigation, Wiretap Investigator/Coordinator, Witness Protection, Drug Enforcement and Polygraph. He retired as a Detective Staff Sergeant.
